By Coach:
Sanders Coaches run services between Knapton and North Walsham. Also a weekly service to Stalham. Their current timetable is valid to Easter 2011:

By Rail:
(At one time there was a railway station in the village. The Station Master's house is now a private residence).
The nearest railway station to the village is at North Walsham. Services operate between Norwich, Wroxham, Cromer and Sheringham, and at various villages along the way.
Norwich is a main line station from where routes to other UK stations operate.

North Walsham Area Community Transport Association (NWACTA) provides 3 transport services for all ages, disabilities, carers, Children/Families, and those with learning difficulties.
1. Dial A Ride. Travel routes start from your home to a wide choice of local destinations. These include North Walsham, Stalham, Holt, Reepham, Aylsham, Wroxham etc. Each route runs on specific days. To use the service you must register as a member of the association, and pre-book the journey by 1pm the previous day. 2. Poppybus. This is a "flexibus" service connecting Knapton to 17 local villages. The service operates between 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Passengers need to pre-book their travel by telephone before 1pm the previous day.
3. Dial A Medi Ride. A dedicated car and driver service that helps passengers keep appointments with doctors, dentists and opticians in North Walsham, Cromer, Mundesley and Stalham. Users must register with NWACTA.
