Activities - Bell Ringing

For over 30 years, up to the early 1990's, the band of bell ringers was lead by former resident Andrew Lubbock, who in his time taught many locals to ring, including all his family. The band is now lead by his son, another Andrew Lubbock

The current band is always looking for new recruits to continue part of Britain's fine heritage by preserving an art which dates back hundreds of years.

Ringing times are:

Services Sunday 9.30am - 10.00am
Practice Friday 7.30pm - 9.00pm

Anyone who would like to come and find out more about the bells, or bell ringing are most welcome to come along to any Friday night practice and ask for Andrew (Tower Captain)
